Prepared Resilience Initiative Foundation equips underserved communities, children, seniors, and faith institutions with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to prepare for emergencies before disaster strikes.
Disasters don't strike equally. Underserved communities are disproportionately impacted β yet they have the least access to evacuation planning, emergency kits, and preparedness education. When the next disaster hits, the most vulnerable are left behind not by chance, but by a systemic gap in resources and knowledge.

With more than six years of federal emergency management experience and over twenty-five disaster deployments, Tamieka has witnessed firsthand how preparedness knowledge and resources are not equally accessible across communities.
Throughout her career in disaster response and public service, she observed that the communities most vulnerable during emergencies were often those with the least access to preparedness education, supplies, and resources. This realization led her to create the Prepared Resilience Initiative Foundation.
Her mission is simple yet powerful: ensure that underserved communities, children, seniors, and faith institutions have access to the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to prepare for emergencies β before, during, and after disasters.
"Preparedness knowledge is not equally shared β and that gap costs lives. I built this foundation to change that."
